COMPLETING APPLICATIONS



Double checking everything is correct and true is super important. It could be the difference between getting hired and getting your application discarded!
Employer's really look at this section if you are applying for a job that would involve lots of driving for the company.
Check the boxes next to the days you are available to work and write the time frame you are available below.
Applications tend to take a while, so set aside time to fill them out completely and accurately.
If an application asks for the contact information of a former employer and you check that they can contact said employer in the work experience section, do not use this employer as a reference.
Always start with your most recent job in the work experience section and always attach additional sheets if the amount provided is not sufficient.
Filling out job applications can be tedious, but it's the only way you're going to get the job! So take your time and make sure everything you put down is accurate. Lying, or even accidental inaccurate information, can cost you the job. Applications can usually be found on company websites. Most can be filled out electronically while others will need to be completed by hand. Below are some extra tips on filling out the application to make it quick and easy! If there are any sections that don't apply to you, just fill in N/A to indicate that it is not applicable.
No military service? Just fill in N/A in all the available spaces. Do the same with all other sections that do not pertain to you.
